Our multimedia performance is set in 2050 amidst a post environmental catastrophe. A young girl flees from Ohswé:ken / Six Nations of the Grand River to the Eastern Door her Kahnyen’kehàka homelands high in the Adirondack mountains of upper state New York. Escaping rising and virus filled waters, she takes sole refuge at a community bunker camp, condoling with the land and re-aligning to the newly shifted Earth. Climate survivors arrive at the camp: a feral child who she befriends and a real or unreal Wolfwomxn creature who is guide and conjuror. A developing cohesion of the fledging community is interrupted by a lurking survivor: a young dark web hacker who is desperately trying to re-establish digital connections.
